THE ULTIMATE IN INFANT SAFETY
Aton 2 was awarded the title of test winner with and without ISOFIX base by German independent consumer organisation Stiftung Warentest (06/2012). In both configurations Aton 2 was the only infant car seat to achieve the highest mark VERY GOOD in the safety category.
The Aton 2 has been further enhanced as a result of stringent testing, to offer a truly safe, extremely light and roomy infant car seat. A new Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P. System) has been added to complement the energy absorbing shell. This additional safety feature offers enhanced protection in the case of a side impact collision, further protecting the child from all over external impacts.
With the help of an adapter, the Aton2 infant car seat can be effortlessly converted into a travel system with the CYBEX Callisto, Onyx and Topaz along with a host of other brands of strollers.
LINEAR SIDE-IMPACT PROTECTION (L.S.P. SYSTEM)
With every fourth car accident being a side-impact collision CYBEX has set about creating a truly safe travel solution for infants that reduces the risk of injury. As a result the optimised side protection system of the Aton 2 absorbs the energy of an impact at an extremely early stage and activates the L.S.P System. Thanks to its flexible structure the car seat absorbs the remaining energy of the impact and channels it away from the baby. The protective side elements can be folded away on the side facing away from the door or in the case that the car seat is installed in the middle, both sides can be folded away. This technical development provides an extra 40% safety in the case of a side-impact collision!
ATON BASE-fix AND ATON BASE
Safe and easy installation for great comfort. The infant carrier is clicked directly onto the base, making the buckling-up process of the infant carrier a nuisance of the past. An indicator confirms the correct installation.
The belted Aton Base is secured to the car with a quick belt tensioning device.
Aton Base-fix is fixed to the car with ist ISOFIX connectors which offers additional safety and stability. Alternatively the base can be belted tot he car when used in vehicles that do not have ISOFIX.

CYBEX TRAVEL SYSTEM
With the help of a simple adapter, the Aton 2 infant car seat can be effortlessly converted into a travel system with the CYBEX Callisto, Onyx or Topaz strollers. The ingenious Aton2 is also compatible with other brands of strollers, including Bugaboo, Baby Jogger and Mamas & Papas etc. This smart functionality guarantees a lightweight, flexible and space-saving travel solution for the home and on the road.
INTEGRATED FOLDAWAY CANOPY
The 2 position canopy of this infant carrier is easy to use and offers optimum protection. The canopy slides under a protecitve blind when not in use.
